This duo has been part of the festival performance line up for 5 years. As fundraiser and special event coordinators and performers, they share their love of Zumba with all.
Mangelly’s American Cabaret Belly Dance takes the best of all the styles, Egyptian, Moroccan, Turkish, Greek, Lebanese, etc. and presents a unique American Cabaret style with exciting drums, swirling skirts, rhythmic finger cymbals, and entrancing veils. The Mangelly Belly Dancers dance for beauty, healthy exercise, and because it’s fun.
MJ’s Live Performances include himself, hype man, two dancers and his DJ. MJ is very interactive with the crowd. He hands out t shirts and prizes. His dance team has a dance off at the end of the last song and invites crowd to join in on the fun
Suzuki Strings of Augusta showcases the talents of over 160 stringed instrument students from across the CSRA. The students perform a variety of genres, including classical repertoire and bluegrass and celtic fiddling.
The Augusta Players opens it’s 72nd season with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s beloved musicl, OKLAHOMA! We will perform selections from the show which will open the weekend following Arts in the Heart of Augusta.
Krist Austin was born in Augusta, Georgia. The singer, songwriter, dancer and percussionist’s love of music began at the age of 6. Krist Austin became inspired and influenced by artists such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, R&B group New Edition as well the writing styles of Smokey Robinson.
John Krueger has been writing songs and performing them around the country for a little over a decade. The 27-year-old Georgian proudly displays his love for The Beatles and singer-songwriters of the 70’s throughout his catalogue

King Cat and the Elders consist of five seasoned musicians.
